Hosts Jonathan, a wildlife ranger and Julie, international school teacher are experts on history and ecology of the glacier region. We are passionate hikers and bird watchers who can show you the best places to visit.

You will enjoy panoramic views of the forests, glaciers and mountains of Westland National Park from your room. Our grounds are specially landscaped, providing habitat to attract native birds. Ribbonwood is uniquely situated in a quiet rural landscape, a few minutes drive from the village and ten minutes drive from the glacier. Our modern home and cottage feature
