Room Facilities and Servicing at Ribbonwood
Room servicing
Our rooms are serviced daily in the morning. An evening turn down service is provided, dependent on your movements. Please note that we do not service rooms if guests are using them during the service period. Please let us know if you prefer not to have the room serviced. We’ll be happy to drop off clean towels, dishes and top up room amenities. Windows and doors Ribbonwood Retreat was designed as an environmentally friendly building. In summer the cottage does get warm. All windows and doors will need to be closed (if you turn on the air conditioning to cold) for it to work. Our place and grounds are very private and safe; leaving windows open a little at night during warmer weather is refreshing. There are insect screens fitted to most windows and doors for both Ribbonwood rooms and the cottage and those are the ones we recommend you leave open. In the Waiho suite bathroom the window will need to be shut each evening to stop flying insects coming in, Power and electronics All powerpoints are NZ standard 230/240 volts. You will find standard USB charger points in powerpoints near the desk or bedside, and there is a powerboard with additional USB points. We do have and EU – US compatible inlet plugs available for guest use as well as additional international plug adapters - all available on request. Television and Entertainment Instructions of how to use the TV is on a card located nearby it as well as in the hard copy compendium. We are happy to come and help, please call or phone us.
