The Cottage
Nestled on the doorstep of Westland National Park, the generous 40-sqm cottage boasts spectacular mountain and glacier views. Set on an acre of lush, sprawling grounds surrounded by established native trees, your secluded retreat in the heart of Glacier Country awaits. The Cottage is self-contained with a king bed and single bed. Suitable for two people, double or twin. Embrace the welcoming warmth of the Scandinavian-style cottage built from solid timber. There is a kitchenette with drink-making facilities, a microwave and a small fridge. The ensuite bathroom features a high-flow shower.
Choose from our menu using fresh produce from the garden and homemade and local ingredients. Will you opt for the fresh fruit crepe, cooked breakfast with farm-fresh eggs, homemade bread and preserves or our famous vegan waffles? We adapt our menu for your dietary requirements. Savour every sip of our locally West Coast brewed delicious coffee. Experience the West Coasts incredible sunsets or sip your favourite wine alfresco under the stars on the large deck which eludes off the cottage ranch slider. Sink into your hotel-grade King bed wrapped in crisp 100% cotton line-dried linen.
Large windows mean the cottage is sun-drenched and the ranch slider doors open out to the deck, where you can enjoy views of mountains, forests, and glaciers.
The cottage has a wheelchair ramp, accessible bathroom facilities, wide doors, a slide shower, shower chair and handrails. Guests can enjoy the privacy of their own space, a vast garden area to roam, secluded decks and private parking.
