The Waiho Suite
Welcome to the Waiho Suite, your spacious home away from home nestled at the base of the majestic West Coast mountains, surrounded by rainforest, sprawling farmland and vibrant native gardens you can roam. The Waiho Suite offers exclusive use of the entire top floor of Ribbonwood Retreat, boasting views of stunning Westland National Park vistas that travel as far as the eye can see, inviting you to truly let go, relax and let nature envelop you.
The Wahio Suite encompasses two bedrooms of which both have ranch slider doors that open out onto private decks, perfectly positioned to watch twilight drop her curtain every day. Soak up the colour palette of our famous West Coast sunsets whilst enjoying your favourite beverage and appreciating the vastness around you that is UNESCO World Heritage. The master bedroom is a whopping 35 square metres complete with a comfortable king bed and a single bed with direct views of the glaciers and the mountains. There is also a workspace, walk-in wardrobe and sofa.
The second bedroom offers 12 square metres of comfort, has a queen bed and shares a generous bathroom with the master room. There is no guest kitchen however drink making facilities are always available and Ribbonwood has several excellent restaurants nearby, offering complimentary transport.
This includes a fully cooked breakfast fresh from our garden.
Due to safety concerns with the stairs and balcony, the Waiho Rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 7. Instead, we recommend booking The Cottage if you are travelling with children.
