How we use cookies We use cookies mainly for Google Analytics, to see how our site performs. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system.  You can adjust settings on your browser so that you will be notified when you receive a cookie. Controlling your personal information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.
We keep your information for one year at which point we securely destroy it unless you choose to stay in touch with us on our newsletter, a contact list that we hold securely on Mailchimp.
We use 1Password - only Jonathan and Julie know the master password. 
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Bed & Breakfast - If cancelled within 7 days of arrival date or no-show 100% forfeit of total booking. If cancelled within 30 days of arrival date 30% forfeit of total booking. Due to the small size of our business cancellations affect us greatly. We appreciate that unexpected changes to travel plans may occur and we recommend adequate travel insurance to protect you against late cancellation penalties. Ribbonwood Retreat is unable to carry losses on behalf of guests that should be covered by a comprehensive travel insurance policy. If New Zealand Border Restrictions are imposed to prevent your travel, then no charges apply. Please phone +64 3 7520072 to advise if you are going to be arriving later than 6pm.
